Investing in Leaders

OVERVIEW

Metrics show that Penn Law is the national leader among top law schools in preparing students for successful and fulfilling careers in the law and related fields. We can, and must, maintain and improve this track record by enhancing experiential learning opportunities and skills-based training.

Our nationally-recognized Gittis Center for Clinical Legal Studies offers students opportunities to step outside the classroom, moving beyond the theoretical, to represent entities and individuals in actual transactions, court proceedings, and administrative actions — all under faculty supervision. Penn Law is also expanding curricular offerings in other experiential areas, adding pathbreaking externship opportunities at institutions like the United Nations and the U.S. Congress.

To maintain our leadership position in preparing students for career-long success, we must continue to invest in these innovative experiential and skills-based programs.
